TRAINING FUNDS FOR ALL DISLOCATED WORKERS The Delphi Needmore Road, Johnson Controls Industries facilities are approved for training funds based on its current status of having employees Displaced through no fault of their own. Trade Assistance Allowance (TAA) funds are made available as a result of an active Trade petition that was approved in 2006 for manufacturing employees who lost their jobs as a result of work shipped out of the country. Workforce Investment Act (WIA) is another source of federal training funds used to assist ALL dislocated workers with retraining opportunities. Note: Trade petition for Plastech is pending!
