are to assist the Local Joint Activities Committee in
the effective implementation of all joint activities. I
also administer Appendix- A, K, and L, of the National
Agreement. Appendix K is the Jobs Security Program (SEL)
and Appendix-L, which deal exclusively with product
sourcing. |

Representative in February 2007. As the Plant 4
Capacity Assurance Coordinator my responsibility is to
analyze and maintain planned maintenance on all
equipment in my area, order parts for downed machinery,

Plant 5 Quality Network

As
the Quality Network Representative for Plant 5, I'm
responsible for supporting and promoting of the
UAW-Delphi Action Strategies. As the Capacity
Assurance Coordinator for Plant 5, I'm responsible for
the development and coordination of all the planned
maintenance activities and I provide for the proactive
scheduling of planned maintenance. I also analyze
maintenance activities for continuous improvement and
procure equipment and repair parts. I also serve
on the Local 696 Election and Legislative Committees.
I have 7 years seniority and have served my appointed

I have been employed here at
Delphi since June of 2006. As the Plant 6 Capacity
Assurance Coordinator I am responsible for implementing
and maintaining Preventative Maintenance practices in
all of Plant 6. I also order parts for downed
machinery, and schedule jobs for ongoing maintenance
projects. I am excited about my new position and

Plants 7 & 9 Quality

My main
job as your Quality Network Representative is support
for the employee. If you have any problems with
your job whether it be a quality concern, or work place
organization, that you cannot resolve with your foreman
or committeeperson, I'm the next step in the
process. I attend daily meetings with management
and look forward to helping you with any problems you
may have.
I am
also in Capacity Assurance Coordinator (CAC) training,
as the Quality Network and Capacity Assurance
Coordinator positions are being combined. As the
plant 6, 7 and 9 CAC I am responsible for development and
coordination of all planned maintenance. I am also
frequently involved in ordering parts for emergency
breakdowns, and or skilled trades support. I have
9 years seniority and have served as an appointed
representative of UAW Local 696 since April 2006.

am replacing Dave Maxwell and Calvin Rutledge who are
retiring December 31, 2006. I have been employed
at Delphi for 7 years and was an Alternate Benefits
Representative prior to this appointment. I am a
retired Air Force NCO with 21 years of active military
service. The military training and experience
gained while on active duty can be a great asset to all
our employees. The
Work / Family Assistance Program, a Joint Delphi/UAW
program, provides help and support in resolving personal
problems affecting job performance. Marital and
family problems, mental health situations, financial
trouble, and problems with alcohol and drugs can impair
a person's health and well being, as well as his or her
job performance. As
your Work / Family Representative, I am available to
meet with employees, all shifts, on a voluntary and
confidential basis. The program is a resource that
you can use to secure professional and confidential help

started work at Delphi in March of 1999. My
husband Eugene retired with 30 years of service the same
month. I am the mother of 5 children: Kortney 25,
Josh 28, Kerri 30, Kim 33, and Kelli 36. I am also
the proud grandmother of 7.
I
have worked in ABS, the clean room, 530, 504, 522, 583,
and 520 departments. Before working at Delphi, I
was a school bus driver, domestic engineer, secretary,
and vending company manager. I really enjoy the
benefits office and look forward to serving the
membership of UAW Local 696. |

I have served Local 696 as
the 2nd shift Alternate Health and Safety Representative
since March of 2005. In the last year and a half,
it has been a privilege and an honor to work with the
2nd shift Health and Safety Representative, Jim
Brewster. Jim has faithfully served this local for
over 16 years in Health and Safety. At the end of
this year, Jim will be retiring from Delphi. His
knowledge and expertise will be greatly missed.

Believe it or not, I’m retired from the US Army! I am a
Vietnam Veteran with over 22 years of service. I
retired in 1991 and have worked as an industrial
electrician for 9 of the last 16 years. I have 3
children that are successful and NOT living at home. I
enjoy a good game of pool, fishing and RVing. I own a 5th
wheel camper and hope to get to use it someday. I grew
up in Richmond Indiana, Dayton and the Hamilton Ohio
area. So I guess you can consider me as a local
native. I’ve been with Delphi since November 2006 and I
was appointed as the alternate Health and Safety rep for
2nd shift in May 2007. I will do my best to
make this a Safe, Accident

Responsibilities of
the JETT: To conduct job analysis and provide
recommendations for corrective actions. Monitoring the
implementation of job improvements as well as new jobs.
Report monthly at the Plant Safety Review Board Meeting
and provide quarterly reports to the UAW Center for
Human Resources
Review all Ergonomic
Related injuries and report out accordingly as well as
help with corrective actions. Attend all Safety Sign
Offs and work with the Safety Dept, Medical Dept,
Engineering, as well as production, and the Bargaining
and Shop Committee.
As the Industrial Hygiene
Technician my job is to make sure the environment you
work in is safe, and that you have the proper safety
equipment to protect yourself.
I have been a member of the
Recreation Committee for 7 years,
Picnic Committee for 5 years, Election Committee for 8
years, “Union Eyes” since 1999 and Editor of the “Union
Eyes” since 2001

year is approaching and many of our appointed people
will be leaving and there will be a need to fill their

suggestions administration position. The

Apprentice Chairperson performing the duties as outlined
in the National Agreement. I also administer to
the Journeyman/Woman card process. I hold two

I am an Electrician with 7
years seniority. I was appointed on December 18th,
2006 and start my position on January 22nd, 2007.
I am responsible for retaining the Skilled Trades
maintenance and construction work per paragraph 183-D,
Appendix F, Document 58 and 98 of the National
Agreement. I am also the Alternate EIT /
Apprentice Representative. Additional duties will
be to implement and maintain a database to perform
preventative maintenance on various facility items.
