Our History |

 Local
696 received its charter from the United Auto Workers on
November 17th, 1939. For over six decades, UAW Local 696
has stood for the rights of the American worker. UAW Local
696 is a member of Region 2B of the International United
Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of
America. |

Vibrant local unions and
progressive social movements don't just happen; they are planned
